Este martes se dieron a conocer los Premios 2026 de Cine de la Academia Británica, más conocidos como los BAFTA.

La película con mayor número de nominaciones fue "One Battle After Another" con 14 nominaciones. Luego, fue turno de "Sinners", con 13. "Hamnet" y "Marty Supreme" lograron 11 cada una. 

Una de las principales sorpresas es la aparición de varios nombres que no fueron nominados a los Premios Oscar. El principal es de Chase Infiniti, quien se hizo con un espacio en la categoría de mejor actriz, como también en el de estrella emergente.

A la intérprete de "One Battle After Another" se suma Jesse Plemons por "Bugonia" en mejor actor; Paul Mescal por "Hamnet" en mejor actor de reparto y Odessa A’zion por "Marty Supreme". 

El resto sigue la tónica de las distintas premiaciones ya ocurridas.
